I thought I had read Alices's Adventures in Wonderland some years ago but found much that I did not recognise and some which seemed quite at odds with that which I thought I knew about the book. I should have taken notes at the time as now I find that to do it justice or just to collect my thoughts I really do need to read it again, perhaps for the third time. It really is a most intriguing tale and it is I think remarkable how clearly at times one can hear the voice of Dodgson talking to the daughters of Henry Liddle. Perhaps I have become confused by the paucity of "ideas" in various filmic representations of the story.
